My Background

Graduated from the school of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics at the Faculty of Higher Studies Cuautitlán in 2006 (Mexico) having one semester abroad at the University of California Davis. MSc on Sustainable Development at the Technological Institute of Higher Studies Monterrey.
Currently enrolled in the 6th year of the PhD program at the School of Resource and Environmental Management of the University to Simon Fraser in Canada working on the social biological interphase of the Monarch Butterfly’s conservation. Since September 2018 I am also a trainee of the ReNewZoo professional development program, from which I am serving as student representative right now.
I currently serve also as the Human network and data coordinator for eButerfly, citizen science online platform focused in the documentation of butterflies across North America.
